Celebrating Oast Brickwork: A Light-Filled Wet Room

This bathroom-to-wet-room conversion was designed to make the most of the home’s original character. Rather than hiding the Oast brickwork, the new layout brings it into the room and uses it to frame the basin area, creating a warm and distinctive focal point.
Opening up the layout helped the room feel lighter, more spacious and easier to move around. Brushed brass taps and fittings pick up the earthy tones within the brick, carrying that warmth through the rest of the scheme and bringing the original architecture and new bathroom design together.
